Ok here goes with my first topic. It's called 'Whatever happened to..."
As in:
Whatever happened to the IHOP that was going to open in Fairplay?
Whatever happened to the liquor store that was going to open in the old PRI building in Grant?
Whatever happened to the pizza parlor that was supposed to open in the Rustic Inn space?
Whatever happened to the cafe that was going to open in the old Carlos O'Brien's building in just outside Grant?
All of these were reported in the Flume, but never materialized. If you know the answers, please share. I'm just incredibly curious. If you have your own 'Whatever happened to's' add them to the list!
I remember when Carlos O'Brien's was Carlos & Charlies. I thought it odd because that's the name of a chain in Mexico (and a couple of restaurants in the United States).
WAY before it was Carlos O'Brien's, it was the office/laundry for the trailer park that was put in at that location for the workers of the Roberts Tunnel.
