Bitter Cold Headed Our Way For New Year

I took the dogs for a hike in the Pike Forest yesterday.. didn't even need a jacket. But, look what's headed our way...

A cold front will drop Wednesday night temps into the 20s, with a high Thursday of 29 and low Thursday of one below zero. The high Friday will be only 13, according to the latest NWS forecast. The Weather Underground is predicting six below zero Friday night.

I am not ready for this. I have been loving the warm weather. When it gets under 30 I have trouble.

Hopefully there'll be some white stuff with it to compensate for the cold. My grands are dying to pull out the sleds.
