Becky, talk to the hospice associated with your Moms hospital, unfortunately, they will know of caregivers that are looking for new positions. They should already have a track record and easily checked references.

becky, my mom isnt ready to come on yet. she is just learning some typing and doing emails. but she did ask me if i would pass on to you that she is quite amazed at how well your mom seems to be doing considering what she has suffered. she continues prayers and hopes that your mom will be able to continue being independent and at home. a companion is a good alternative to assisted living.
