Wonder how the cup is going to keep the coffee hot. Even a grande gets cold about 2/3 of the way down for me.

If memory serves, "venti" is "20" in Italian, and "trenta" is "30" - I'm guessing ounces?

I think you are right. I just did the conversion and 916 ml is almost 31 OZ

Trenta is Italian for triple your weight in 30 days. :thumbsup:

My radio station in Dallas was making a huge thing out of this and how it is dangerous for your bladder, etc...did anyone stop to think that you aren't going to drink the whole thing in a 15 second time span. You would have to go potty WAY before your bladder would fill up with 31 oz of fluid. I just thought it was funny that they had nothing better to talk about.

Personally I think a big gulp is a big time issue. I don't know how people drink all that.

My husband drinks Big Gulps (he's addicted to soda pop, but I guess there could be worse things). He calls them the "Bladder Buster". I always appreciate his getting those when we are on long road trips. It's the only way I get to stop and stretch - while he empty's.

32 oz. of water is one thing, but 32 oz. of caffeine/sugar is quite another.
