Not a good business move for CNL properties they own Elitch and lease it to Herschend family Entertainment have expressed interest in selling.

So maybe someone should buy Elitch before it becomes a ghost park.

hell, Elitch's should have been left where it was, not made into yet another 6 flags.

Someone will buy it, but not for his asking cost - cause he sure as hell didn't pay even near that much and didn't improve it much either.

On that note, I'm going to contact Historic Denver, INc and see what can be done for/about it.

Move the Hot dog stand to Downtown Bailey! There has to be somewhere along that main street it would fit, and it would help bring business in the town too!

The spot where it is now is fine too, but sounds like its not an option for the buyer.

Another spot might be Grant. Lots of future traffic there when Guanella construction is completed some day.

Put the hot dog on the roof of the El Rio Mexican restaurant in Bailey. That place is getting such bad reviews over at PC that it could use a new facelift, and a new menu.

Years ago I liked El Rio but then they went way downhill, I haven't been there in over 2 years they became awful.

Thats too bad about El Rio, have not been there in several years, but it was good back then. I have heard the same, hope they get better soon. It is a nice location on the river.

The Dog has alot of history, maybe the Smithsonian will take it.
