On March 31, a Jeffco deputy followed a driver on South U.S. 285 and stopped it for failing to use a turn signal at Pleasant Park Road in Conifer. When the deputy checked the license plate it was registered to a man with a warrant out for his arrest out of Golden for failure to appear on a traffic offense. The driver was arrested and taken to jail.
No tail light leads to pot bust
On April 3, a Jeffco deputy stopped a vehicle at U.S. 285 and Kings Valley in Conifer because its rear license plate was not illuminated. The driver was given a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia and the missing lamp.
