An abandoned library in Russia.

I don't know the story but interesting pictures.

Those are pictures of the library at Chernobyl. The people left without taking anything with them. It will be deserted for 600 years.

Here is a link to a woman's website dedicated to the ghost towns around the atomic power plant. The pictures are very haunting. It has been a few years since I visited her website, so thanks for the reminder, for she has added quite a bit to her images.

Their language is so hard. I had a few girlfriends from Russia. They just loved me and I them. They taught me a little Russian. But it was not easy.

They also were telling me that the movie XXX with Vin Diesel had Russian but the language with the subtitles were incorrect. They were not saying anything close to what the subtitles said. They were some of the sweetest people around. And they had some health issues because of the radiation.

I wonder how long radiation stays in paper.
The images from Chernobyl are interesting especially the overgrown vegetation and abandoned ships.
