We lost pets in a fire many, many years ago and since we do not have kids they are our kids. I would of rather of the house of burned to the ground than lose my pets.

To me a life is a life anyway you look at it and material items can be replaced.

That is nonsense. Spreading fear is what cost about 16 families their homes back in Oklahoma. Previously the local residents took care of the grass fires themselves and no loss of life or homes resulted. Whenever the large government started ordering people out of their houses, there was great loss of property.
