Bring your donation to the 285bound picnic!

IMHS is happy to have been selected as a partner by the planners of the 285Bound picnic. We are also very happy to announce the generous offer from the MountainDollar dogs who are going to match up to $50 in donations! (How do dogs get $50 to donate? Mine don't ever do enough chores to earn an allowance). It's just another reason to attend this fantastic event and meet your neighbors and enjoy some BBQ.

We will be accepting donations of supplies and the always helpful cash during the event.

Here is a list of supplies that we can always use:
Dry dog food with no food coloring additives (especially red dye). Good brands include Iams and Kirkland (costco)
Paper towels
Garbage bags (33 gal black bags)
Scotch brite (or equivalent) heavy duty scrub sponges
Wet cat food
Wet kitten food
Wood pellets

Thanks to the 285Bound picnic organizers for selecting IMHS!

Is there an actual date for this picnic? I found a head-count thread, but the first post doesn't list a date.

Thanks. Maybe someone could update the title of that thread with the actual date? Most people may not want to read thru six pages.

As long as the crate still works (closes/locks/etc) and the toys are still usable we will take them. The crate we can use for transport and the toys will be used to help enrich the animals in the shelter.

thanks!

Don't forget that the Mountain Dollar Dogs will be matching donations up to a total of $50.00!!!!

They were a little plump coming out of winter, so they cut back on their treats and have been saving their money to help those fuzzy guys/girls that need a home.

We will have a donation box at the picnic so if your furry family member has a little extra change, please think about giving a donation.
