Here's a Great NEW Way to Donate to IMHS!

Intermountain Humane Society has teamed up with Kenosha Auction to raise even more money for the homeless animals in our community.

Donations from the public make up the majority of items sold at our Second Chance Thrift Shop, but limited space and our top floor location has meant that we couldn’t accept large items – that is, up until now. We’re pleased to announce that you can now donate large items – furniture, appliances, vehicles, boats, bikes, etc. – to IMHS and Kenosha Auctions will sell them to the highest bidder on their scheduled auction days. The proceeds, less a small commission, will go directly to IMHS. What’s more, the value of the items you donate is fully tax-deductible.

With the help of these professional auctioneers, IMHS can accept just about anything you’d like to donate, including high-end items not normally found in a “thrift” shop. Kenosha Auctions has a proven track record of being able to sell anything! Anything, that is, except mattresses, baby cribs and car seats.

Take advantage of this great opportunity to clear out the clutter in your house, garage, or storage shed. If donating large items, please call ahead to the Second Chance Thrift Shop (303-816-2471) so we can make can make sure the auction can accept your donations before you deliver these items directly to Kenosha Auctions.

The IMHS Second Chance Thrift Shop is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, 10:30 am until 5:00 pm; Friday and Saturday, 10:30 am until 6:00 pm; the shop is closed on Monday.
