We have exciting news to share with you! Intermountain Humane Society is looking to expand our operations by building a surgery suite at our present location. This new suite will allow us to perform sterilizations of the animals in our care as well as other minor, yet important, procedures including tooth cleaning, tooth extractions, biopsies and other minor surgeries. It will also allow us to lower our bottom line by not having to outsource these services as we have in the past. We have the veterinary professionals, those on our board as well as other local veterinarians lined up, but we can’t do it alone. In order to move forward with this initiative, we need to raise $10,000 to pay for equipment, additional rent and supplies to get us started. To donate to this worthwhile cause, please send your donation to:
We are about 15% of the way to our goal! Thanks to all who have made donations to this exciting cause. Let's keep the donations coming! Here are some other benefits that the surgery suite will provide:
- Animals will no longer have long travel times when going to and from their appointments.
- IMHS will save approx. 15K per year which will make a big difference in the lives of the animals trusted to our care
- We will be able to use some of those savings to expand the surgery suite and provide even more benefits to our animals
Help us continue to make IMHS a community shelter we can all be proud of!
