IMHS Offers Purr-fect Twelve Days of Christmas Adoption Special
$12.25 Adult Cat Adoption Fee Through Christmas Eve
The Intermountain Humane Society is discounting feline adoption fees for the twelve days before Christmas in an attempt to send orphaned cats home for the holidays.
“We have some terrific cats who have been with us since Valentine’s Day, so it would be sweet for them to be in new lifetime homes by Christmas,” said IMHS Shelter Director Marta Anderson. “We know that some nice people have cats or kittens on their wish lists but might be challenged by the naughty economy, so IMHS is offering an unbeatable $12.25 deal on adoption fees for adult cats, and we’re discounting fees for the kittens too.”
Cat adoption fees are normally $60 - $80 but have been lowered to the special price of $12.25 through Christmas Eve. Kitten adoption fees have been reduced by half. The special begins on Tuesday December 13, and runs for the twelve days leading up to Christmas.
Every IMHS cat is spayed or neutered, given age-appropriate vaccines, de-wormed, tested for feline leukemia/FIV, micro-chipped, and comes with a free vet visit and a cardboard carrier.
The Shelter is now open seven days a week, from 11 am to 4 pm daily but with evening hours on Wednesday when the shelter is open from 11 am to 7 pm. The shelter will be open for the holidays through 2pm on Christmas Eve, and is closed on Christmas day.
“Our ‘inn’ is now full but we’ve got cats arriving from some desperate situations this week, so we really hope that folks who have considered adding a cat to their family will take advantage of our Christmas promotional $12.25 adoption fee, and take home a needy animal from IMHS. We are very earnest about finding loving new homes for the cats, in time for the holidays”, stated Anderson.
