We are gonna try to keep this updated, but sometimes it's hard to keep up with of all the great stuff going on at IMHS.
We've decided to have an alumni thread where we will post pictures received from our adopters. Our adopters are also posting updates to our facebook page here.
Stop by for a visit. You never know where you will find your BFF. If you have adopted your best friend from IMHS, please keep us updated here on 285B and on our FB page.
We love to see how our pups have grown up, or even our adults have been made a part of the family.
Came to the shelter in February of 2011. They were adopted just before Christmas 2011. We received an update about them, and a couple of photos. It is so wonderful that they were adopted together since they are brothers and had always lived together. They are definitely enjoying the new view and new cat tree. Thank you to their new family for giving them a loving home and providing us with an update and photos. Sorry the photos are sideways.... but that is how Jack and Bones always seemed to be.....
just wanted to let you know that Jack and Bones have settled in very nicely! They have have explored the entire house and are getting used to Maverick (my lab). The kitty condo is their favorite place besides sleeping on the bed next to me...
This is Annie. She was adopted from IMHS 2 years ago as a puppy that came to us on the puppy train from Kansas.
She came to visit us at the shelter today. She is very attentive to her owner despite all the distractions of our parking lot and barking dogs in the background.
Annie's owner sent a couple of photos by email. Here she is more comfortable at home.
This is Deuce and his owner Nancy. He is living the high life now. Literally at 10,578 feet. Nancy brought Deuce by to let us know how well they have bonded and what a wonderful companion he has become. They look pretty happy to us!
This is Ripley when she first came to the shelter at 8 weeks old back at the beginning of November.
Well, she isn't Ripley anymore, she is Ani now. And she is 5 months old. She knows sit, but is easily distracted. It's wonderful to get to watch them grow up. She came by to visit us today.
Hello IMHS!
We adopted JoJo on New Year's Day, so we thought it would be fun to report back to you with an update! This kitty is such a sweetheart! JoJo has found his rightful place as King and has claimed all window sills and high shelves for himself, surveying his kingdom from above. Other times he enjoys exerting his authority over us more directly, plopping down right on top of us to make sure we know he is available for petting and certain that we will feel compelled to do so. He's already a full fledged member of the household and we're crazy about him. Thanks so much for keeping him safe until we found him.
