Shelter needs week of 4/22 & pics of the week!

Hello Everyone~

We've adopted out 26 animals so far this month-- a terrific April!

This week the shelter needs:

- lids to cover cat and dog food cans

- canned and dry KITTEN formula food

- k/d or n/f (kidney diet) food, for cats with renal disease

- laundry detergent, any brand

- copy paper

- 1st class stamps

BIG thanks to the kind folks at King Soopers in Conifer who allowed us to set up a tabling/adoption event there yesterday afternoon, and to all the terrific folks who stopped by to buy raffle tickets, give donations, and take adoption and volunteer information!! We are super-pleased to announce that Sunny, the 7-yr old Golden Retriever mix who greeted shoppers at yesterday's event, found her forever home with a fantastic lady she met at King Soopers!

And dear Marcus...Marcus is a FABULOUS lynx-point Siamese cat currently at IMHS who is in need of his final forever home. We've just diagnosed him with renal failure and he's active and doing well, but needs a special diet and an understanding family willing to give him great care til the end...Marcus's adoption fee has been sponsored so the fee for his adoption will be waived. Marcus loves sunbathing:
