Shelter needs week of 5/6 and pics of the week:

Hi Everyone~

Last week was slow for donations and we still are in need of nearly all the items from the last post....if anyone is headed to the store today and can keep us in mind, we'd be so appreciative!

Our greatest needs are:

- rubbing alcohol

- canned and dry kitten formula food

- a calculater, used is fine!

- 45-gallon trash bags

- 10-gallon trash bags

- distilled water (for the clinic's autoclave)

- peanut butter

- paper towels

- copy paper--there's a sale going on at Staples for Rewards members, if anyone can take advantage and get us a box of 5000 sheets, that would be super!

It's a new month and we've done 7 adoptions so far! Big thanks to everyone for helping to support the animals through in-kind donations while they are in our care.

Nelson is our star of the week! He's a 4-yr old brown tabby cat with a big personality and a lot of charm. In his previous home, Nelson snuck outside and sustained a puncture wound that didn't receive treatment until a week later, when he was surrendered to IMHS. He arrived with a giant, infected abscess on his back and a raging fever of 105.5. After a month of special treatment at IMHS, Nelson is doing FABULOUS. His wound is nearly healed and he's waiting for a new forever home...could that be YOU? He loves people and other cats, and he is highly affectionate.
