Shelter needs wk of 5/13 & pics o' the week:

Hello Everyone~

May is shaping up to be a terrific adoption month--23 animals have already gone home!

GIANT thanks to the angel who came through for us last week with the trash bags, calculators, boxes of copy paper and the much-needed alcohol!

Kittens, kittens, kittens...there are about 45 in our system right now, the number increases weekly, and we go through a lot of supplies in caring for them. Kittens are the main focus of our wish list this week, and the shelter particularly needs these items which can all be found at the grocery store:

- canned and dry kitten food

- ophthalmic saline solution (this comes in handy when we get sick kittens whose eyes are crusted shut)

- kitten milk replacer, powdered or in carton, any brand (KMR, Just Born, etc)

- distilled water (gallon jugs are sold in the water section of the grocery store--we need this for our clinic's autoclave)

- laundry detergent, any kind!

- more peanut butter (the dogs are crazy about PB!)
