Volunteers sought to care for orphaned and under-aged IMHS shelter kittens in your home for 1, 2 or 3 weeks or until they reach adoptable age (8 weeks). We will set you up with supplies for their care if you'll provide love in a safe home environment!
Foster caregivers should ideally have a separate room to temporarily house litters, apart from your resident cats/dogs. In some cases, we can provide caging for you to confine them in.
We are overwhelmed this time of year...please, help if you can! Kittens waiting now for foster care:
Want to help but can't foster? NOW and all summer we need donations of:
- kitten food, dry and canned
- kitten milk replacer, powdered or canned, any brand
- canned cat food, pate-style, any brand
- clay, non-clumping cat litter
- crates and dog-sized cages, used is fine!
To FOSTER for us- call me at 303-838-2668 or fill out the foster app on-line at IMHS.org.
If you are spring cleaning, DONATE household items to our Second Chance Thrift Shop (in the log building, just upstairs from the shelter!). Proceeds from donated items support the care of the shelter animals and make a BIG difference!
Thank you, everyone!
