IMHS Declares Independence Day For Shelter Cats
Adoption Fees Reduced to $17.76 Entire Month of July
Intermountain Humane Society (IMHS) is declaring standard cat adoption fees of just $17.76 through July 31st to celebrate the nation’s Independence Day holiday.
“Our cats are seeking life, liberty from a shelter cage, and happiness in your home, and we support them in their cry for independence!" says Marta Anderson, IMHS Shelter Director. "We have 25 adult cats in our care, and scores of kittens. Adoption fees for cats have been lowered to $17.76 for the month of July, and kittens are only $60. We are asking prospective adopters to celebrate Independence Day by giving a shelter cat freedom from cage life. We are open seven days a week so adopting is convenient, plus it's the right thing to do!"
Every IMHS cat is spayed or neutered, given age-appropriate vaccines, de-wormed, tested for feline leukemia/FIV, micro-chipped, and comes with a free vet visit and a cardboard carrier.
Intermountain Humane Society is now open seven days a week, from 11 am to 4 pm daily but with evening hours on Wednesday when the shelter is open from 11 am to 7 pm.
Intermountain Humane Society is a private, non-profit organization that receives no government funding and relies solely on donations and community support to serve its mission. IMHS is located at 67318 US Hwy 285 S in Pine Junction.
