Meet Fritz and Oscar...this pair of friends were picked up as strays and never claimed from Denver Animal Care and Control. They were stressed at DACC, so our friends there called IMHS to the rescue today.
Fritz and Oscar love the low-key environment at IMHS, but they're pitifully matted and dirty. We flea-treated them today, but they are in need of professional grooming...can anyone help?
We have a good pair of clippers at IMHS and bathing tub...if a qualified groomer wants to do the job here, that'd be fine. Alternatively, we'd be delighted to have it done at a local groomer's business if anyone can help with the cost.
**If you can help with grooming for Oscar and Fritz, please call IMHS at 303-838-2668**
Lastly, Fritz (about 3 yrs old) and Oscar (about 2 yrs old) need permanent homes. They're great dogs and we think they'd do well with adults and mature kids over 6 yrs old. If you know of anyone able to adopt a spunky little schnauzer (or 2!) send them our way, please. IMHS is OPEN EVERY DAY for adoptions.
BIG WAGS to the 2 kind donors who stepped forward to have Oscar and Fritz groomed, and to the good folks at Paws and Claws who agreed to do the job tomorrow!
Deepest thanks to you for your kindness!
The schnauzer boys will be cleaned up, mat-free, and smelling beautiful by tomorrow afternoon...now they'll just need forever homes...
