Shelter needs wk of July 29 and pic of the week!

Hello Everyone!

THANK YOU to all who attended Christmas in July yesterday!! The event was a smashing success and raised $2094 for the animals...this is over $800 more than last year, so we're uber-pleased with the results! BIG wags and purrs to our Second Chance Thrift Shop team for coordinating this event, and to all who shopped for the animals!

More good news-- 56 animals have gone home so far this month!!

This week the shelter needs:

- baby food- Gerber chicken or Turkey flavors

- hand sanitizer-- please! Keeping this on display in our cat room and kennel areas helps keep our animals healthy

- rubber gloves, med or LG, any brand, the kind you wear to wash the dishes

- canned cat food.... we're already in need of more

- 1st class postage stamps. Not a glamorous item to donate, but greatly needed and appreciated!

Thanks to everyone for reading these weekly lists, and throwing an item or two into your cart for the animals on your shopping trips.
