IMHS Holds Black Friday Adopt-a-thon
Extended hours and discounted adoption fees November 23rd

Anyone in the market for a new lifetime companion animal will benefit from the Black Friday adopt-a-thon at Intermountain Humane Society (IMHS). The shelter will open their doors early at 8 am and offer discounted adoption fees on dogs and cats. The first ten adopters will receive a free Lupine collar, leash, or harness.

“We hope to completely empty our shelter of dogs and cats on Black Friday,” said Marta Anderson, IMHS Shelter Director, “If anybody has been considering bringing a new animal into their family, we hope our early-bird hours and discounted adoption fees will lead them to look here first!”

The adoption fee for cats is reduced to $40 (regularly $70) and dogs can be adopted for just $90 (regularly $125; “VIP” dogs excluded from the special). IMHS members will receive an additional 10% off the fee and anyone may sign up for membership at the time of adoption to receive the extra discount. Adopters who are willing to open their home and heart to a senior animal (6 years of age or older) will receive an even deeper discount of half-off the adoption fee.

Every IMHS cat is spayed or neutered, given age-appropriate vaccines and de-wormer, tested for feline leukemia/FIV, micro-chipped, and comes with a free vet visit and a cardboard carrier. Every IMHS dog is spayed or neutered, given age-appropriate vaccines and de-wormer, micro-chipped, and comes with a free vet visit.

The Shelter is now open seven days a week, from 11 am to 4 pm daily but with evening hours on Wednesday when the shelter is open from 11 am to 7 pm.

The Intermountain Humane Society is a private, non-profit organization that receives no government funding and relies solely on donations and community support to serve its mission. IMHS is located in the Log Building at 67318 US Hwy 285 S in Pine Junction.
