Holiday Greetings, Everyone!
40 animals have found their forever homes this month...BIG thanks to our dedicated team of volunteers for their help in caring for them, and to those of you kind-hearted folks out there who read these posts and help to support their care until they go home...we are so grateful for YOU!
This week the shelter needs:
- peanut butter, creamy or crunchy, the dogs aren't picky, they just LOVE it!
- Gerber baby food, chicken or turkey formula
- bleach, bleach, bleach!
- 1st class postage stamps
- your leftover beer and soda cans! We cash them in and use the money to care for the animals...the change collected from cans helps us SO much! Simply bag them and drop them at our doorstep--we have a special "can wagon" we keep them in until cash-in time
Pic of the week is Buster! We simply adore Buster...he's smart, and he's active and playful, but in a sweet and gentle-mannered way. Buster is a 1 yr old border collie/possibly Aussie mix, and he loves people and other dogs:
