Hi Folks,
We have to ask for the community's help on behalf of a dog who has become very dear to us at the shelter, but who is really in need of a FOSTER or adoptive home....he needs relief from the shelter/kennel environment.
Brady desperately needs a home to stay in until his forever home can be found.
Can you help? Brady is an active senior boxer (perhaps 7 yrs old?) who came to us from an overcrowded shelter 6 weeks ago. He plays successfully with some other dogs (females, pups) and loves people. He is over-dominant with mature male dogs and becomes defensive around them.
Brady needs to get a little more attention than the shelter can provide. He now cries and and grabs at us with his paws when we try to leave his kennel....it is heartbreaking.
Brady's adoption fee has been sponsored and his adoption is FREE to anyone who can provide for him. He's a wonderful dog, please help if you can!
If anyone can take Brady home overnight, we're happy to keep him at IMHS during the day so prospective adopters can meet him. Or, we're happy to have him stay in a foster home and we can arrange adoption meetings by appointment. Whatever works to relieve him of cage-life and afford him more social interaction with people.
Brady is such a good boy:

If you can't foster or adopt, but would like to just take Brady out for a drive or a walk in a park, or if you have a few minutes to spend here at the shelter with him, we invite you to help us with his care....
Thank you so much for keeping him in your thoughts, and for spreading the word about his need for a home! It seems when we collectively direct our attention towards the special needs of an animal like Brady, great things happen.
Call us any day 8am - 4pm if you can help, or swing by the shelter! We're at 303-838-2668. If you can consider taking Brady overnight and want to bring your dog here to meet him, we'd welcome that!
Thank you again,
Marta Anderson
