Brady has been ADOPTED!!

Hi Folks,

We have to ask for the community's help on behalf of a dog who has become very dear to us at the shelter, but who is really in need of a FOSTER or adoptive home....he needs relief from the shelter/kennel environment.

Brady desperately needs a home to stay in until his forever home can be found. Can you help? Brady is an active senior boxer (perhaps 7 yrs old?) who came to us from an overcrowded shelter 6 weeks ago. He plays successfully with some other dogs (females, pups) and loves people. He is over-dominant with mature male dogs and becomes defensive around them.

Brady needs to get a little more attention than the shelter can provide. He now cries and and grabs at us with his paws when we try to leave his kennel....it is heartbreaking.

Brady's adoption fee has been sponsored and his adoption is FREE to anyone who can provide for him. He's a wonderful dog, please help if you can!

If anyone can take Brady home overnight, we're happy to keep him at IMHS during the day so prospective adopters can meet him. Or, we're happy to have him stay in a foster home and we can arrange adoption meetings by appointment. Whatever works to relieve him of cage-life and afford him more social interaction with people.

If you can't foster or adopt, but would like to just take Brady out for a drive or a walk in a park, or if you have a few minutes to spend here at the shelter with him, we invite you to help us with his care....

OPEN EVERY DAY for ADOPTIONS

I just saw on FB that Brady was adopted. Congrats IMHS, another foster failure to add to the list. Those dogs have a way of doing that to people.

Thank you, pacamom!! Yes, the news is that the wonderful family who had been fostering Brady came in yesterday to complete his adoption! He is happy, loved, goes for car rides, and has neighbor dogs to play with who he loves!!

THANK YOU, everyone, who came in to spend time with him, get him out for extra walks, shared his story, and kept him in your thoughts and prayers....what a happy ending!
