Laundry woes: can anyone help repair an almost-broken dryer?

Hello Everyone-

We have an appliance woe to share...our LG dryer has 2 problems:

- it sometimes doesn't want to start and we have to try pushing the "power" and "start" buttons 10 times to get it going

- on Saturday it stopped heating and we had to take all the laundry to a landromat to dry it

If you have handyman skills and appliance knowledge that you can lend to us, please give us a call at 303-838-2668 or swing by the shelter any day between 8am - 4pm to take a look at our problem-dryer! The animals must have ample clean bedding every day, so we become operationally crippled when our laundry station doesn't function.

have you checked the exhaust venting? You should be cleaning it regularly as often as you use it. let's hope it is as simple as that
