IMHS Announces “Purrsdays” Special
Adult Cat Adoption Fees Just $25 in July!
Intermountain Humane Society (IMHS) is declaring standard cat adoption fees of just $25 for the month of July.
“We’ve entered kitten season and the little ones easily grab attention,” said IMHS Shelter Director Marta Anderson, “so we hope this special reduced adoption fee will turn some heads and send some of our terrific adult cats into new lifetime homes. Space for cats in the shelter is at capacity so we are desperate for the community to come forward and adopt.”
IMHS is actually beyond capacity for adult cats (made possible by foster home assistance) as are many shelter across the country. During the month of July, cats aged one year and up can be adopted for just $25. Regular adoption fees are $70 for adult cats and $40 for seniors so the $25 deal is a dramatic reduction offered to feline adopters this month.
Every IMHS cat is spayed or neutered, given age-appropriate vaccines, de-wormed, tested for feline leukemia/FIV, micro-chipped, and comes with a free vet visit and a cardboard carrier.
“Every day can be ‘Purrsday’ for a cat who gets to go home with a kind person,” said Anderson, “and our loving cats will provide years of affectionate purrs to their new family.”
The Shelter is open seven days a week, from 11 am to 4 pm daily but with evening hours on Wednesday when the shelter is open from 11 am to 7 pm.
Intermountain Humane Society is a private, non-profit organization that receives no government funding and relies soley on donations and community support to serve its mission. IMHS is located at 67318 US Hwy 285 S in Pine Junction.
