It's almost mid-July and the adoptions keep coming! So far 23 dogs and cats have found their new forever homes. This includes Gideon and Elliot, the bonded brothers featured previously!
Our wish list for the week is the following....
Canned kitten food any flavor. Thirteen more kittens have arrived at the shelter, this food will help them grow up strong and healthy.
Dry kitten food...see above
Heavy duty rubber gloves in smaller sizes. We received a generous donation of large sized gloves we are putting to good use...thank you!!
Bleach.....always need bleach.
Smart Phone- if you have one you no longer use, we would love to have it. Please call us directly for more information 303-838-2668.
Our picture(s) of the week are a representation of all the wonderful cats here in our shelter...
This is Elizabeth-
This is Caleb-
These two wonderful cats and many more are still here at the shelter waiting for new homes. Our shelter is filled to capacity! In order to be able to care for more homeless cats and kittens, we need to find loving homes for the ones we have. Can you help? For the remaining days of July, all cats 1 year of age or older have a reduced adoption fee of $25.00. That's a small price to give for years of love and happiness, don't you think? Please come over to the shelter and spend some time with these four legged furballs...your next best friend is waiting!
I want to take a moment to thank all of the fantastic folks who read these posts every week and who donate things that are on our wish list. Shout out to the young lady who does fundraising for us EVERY WEEK and visits us on Fridays. You are a wonderful person! Dad must be very proud
Thank you for thinking of us!
Mark your Calendars! The Second Chance Thrift Store is having their annual Christmas in July Sale on Saturday July 27th. The wonderful folks at the store are pulling out all the stops for this event. Proceeds from this sale and all Thrift Shop sales benefit IMHS. More to come!
