Wish List 8/3 and Picture of the Week

We are happy to report that 60 animals found new families in July! :woo hoo:
To those of you who adopted, thank you so much for opening your hearts and your homes! It's early in August..hopefully we can exceed this adoption total.

Thank you also to the wonderful community members who responded to our plea for canned food! Our cupboards are fuller thanks to your generosity. We still have room for more! Our wish list for this week is the following-

Dry CAT FOOD. We are critically low on this item now and hope to bring up our levels. Purina adult cat and kitten are our faves!

BLEACH!!! Yes, we ask for this over and over. We use this in every facet of shelter sanitation and have nearly exhausted our supply.

Postage Stamps. This is a bit boring we know, but they are SO vital to our ongoing membership and donation programs.

Clay cat litter- unscented please. This helps us to transition kittens to using the litterbox successfully.

Canned Cat and Dog food. Yes, we received generous quantities but we will always need more.

Our picture of the week is NIKKO!

This is an incredibly active and boisterous dog! Nikko does very well with his playmates and is great when taken on walks. Nikko is a 9 month old pup who still needs a bit of training but is eager to learn. Need a hiking buddy? Try Nikko!

Please remember, it is always in the best interest of a lost animal to report finding (or sighting) them to your local shelter and animal control. Many people call these places first when they have lost a pet. This also helps to ensure that the lost pet is reunited safely and that a thoughtful discussion can occur with the owner regarding the pets well being and/or to offer assistance if needed.
