Wish List 9/15 and Picture of the Week

Happy to report that 18 wonderful dogs and cats found new homes! That warms our hearts on these rainy, chilly days!

Our wish list for this week is the following-

Peanut Butter- larger tubs are easier to handle.

Sunflower Seeds for the bird feeder entertainment for the kitties.

Bleach- caught you off guard no? Moved it to the middle this time!

Heavy Duty Raincoats with attached hoods- this helps our volunteer dog walkers stay dry on those energetic walks.

Laundry Soap- liquid or powder; we are every low.

The picture for this week is one you may have seen before....

It's Papu!! This adorable 7 year old ball of love came to us over a month ago. He was adopted out but his new owner felt he would be better in a quiet low key home. Papu was a little jealous of the visiting toddler grandkids so we recommend adults only or children who are at least in their teens. Papu loves to go for meandering walks and visits to the park- he does well with dogs he meets and kids outside the home. Who can resist that adorable Pug mug? If you are looking for a gentle and loving couch potato dog, you have to come see Papu!

Our thoughts go out to everyone who has been affected by this week's torrential rains. Many thanks to all the hard working rescuers and the animal evacuation groups. We are all in this together! IMHS is ready and willing to help in any way we can.
