Just a few days into December and we have already placed 3 animals into their new forever homes. If we could adopt one pet per day, wouldn't that be the best holiday gift of all? Come on Santa......
Our wish list for this week is as follows-
WET Cat food- pate style is best.
DRY Cat and Kitten food- they still adore that Cat/Kitten Chow the most!
Postage Stamps- generic holiday is our dream! We have quite a few holiday letters to go out.
Peanut Butter- plain or chunky style only. Anything with additional flavors (honey, chocolate) are best for humans.
Small size energy efficient space heaters with safety features.
This weeks photos are shameless....
These two cuties are new to the shelter and have quickly gathered a large fan base. Carmen is in the first photo and Rosie is in the second. Carmen is a 4 month old Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix who grew up with a litter of kittens and dogs of all sizes. Her friend Rosie is 2 years old and much more timid; she really loves to snuggle with Carmen all the time. We would love these two to go home together but will separate if need be. They are spayed and fully vaccinated and will be microchipped before leaving. They are cautious but friendly and would do best in an adult only or older children home- mostly due to their size.
These babies would fit in a stocking just perfect! These two have slightly elevated adoption fees...and are worth every penny. What a perfect excuse to do some clothes shopping; these girls would LOVE a new winter wardrobe!
If you haven't looked already, please read our post about FREE Santa photos. We would love to have IMHS alumni pets and new friends join us at Buster's this coming Saturday. Come before the parade!
Hope your December is off to a rousing start! Only a few more adopting days....
