Happy New Year! Only a few days into 2014 and already three deserving felines have found new homes. Come on you dog lovers...let's even that number out!
Our wish list for the week is as follows-
DRY Cat and Kitten food- Cat Chow in the Blue bag and Kitten Chow in the Yellow bag works the best!
Paper Towels
Postage Stamps
Cardboard Cat Scratching Trays- we are researching purchasing bulk quantities of cage size scratchers. We would love to have a few people who would be willing to join another dedicated volunteer in sponsoring this purchase.
Dog Booties in all sizes to keep the puppies paws warm and dry.
Our picture for the week is a canine that is still looking for a loving home--
Buster came to us a few weeks ago and quickly won over our hearts! He is such an energetic and playful dog who loves to go for walks and would be a great companion in the home. Buster gets along with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats but you will have to check yourself to see what he says! Not too long after Buster came here, we noticed that he was having occasional seizures in the evening. He has been successfully transitioned to daily medications and has not exhibited any seizure symptoms for weeks now. He has reached a therapeutic level and will continue to enjoy and happy and rambunctious life for years to come. The medication itself is not expensive and the benefits of having such a cute and loyal dog far outweigh the cost. If you can find it in your heart to see if Buster is the perfect match for you, we would love to introduce you!
We hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable New Year celebration. Now if only we could get this snow to slow down.... :scared:
