Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to send a quick thank you for everyone that helped raise the funds we needed to buy the pallet of litter for our kitties! I also wanted to thank everyone who donated everything and anything else!
Here's the newest wish list:
1. Surgical Instruments for Spay and Neuters- I am hoping that in within the month we will be doing surgeries in-house again. With that said, we would like enough instruments to be able to have 5 more spay/neuter packs. Basically what it means is that we will be able to do more surgeries each day!
2. Laundry Detergent (powder preferred)
3. Clay Cat Litter (we use this for kittens)
4. Stamps
5. Paper Towels
6. thermometers
7. Adult Cat Food
8. Newspapers (we use for puppies)
9. 2 small/medium shop vacuums (one for cleaning, one for clinic)
10. Dog Shampoo
11. Cedar ProWring twist mop head replacements
12. Band-Aids
13. Eye Wash
Thank you all so much for your support! We ALL appreciate you so much!
Wow - I wasn't aware you were not doing surgeries in house. How unfortunate.
Are you planning on doing spay/neuter on cats only or will dogs be included in the future?
Exactly what type of surgical instruments do you need? Do you want spay/neuter packs only or general surgical instruments?
I did a little searching around and the prices for surgical instruments are all over the place. Is there a particular brand, set size you have in mind? A particular company you want to deal with for instrument maintenance?

We will be doing cat and dog spay/neuters, and then any minor surgeries needed as well. ex: growth removals, cherry eye correction, etc... Any major type of surgeries would probably be out sourced to a specialist.
We will take what we can get! I am trying to have surgery days assigned during the week... The number of surgeries completed would differ depending on the doctor and how many animals needed surgery. But ideally, I would like us to start off with 5-15 a day. In the future maybe those numbers will increase.
We also are trying to find a vet or hospital that might have an older ultrasonic cleaner that they would be willing to donate too.
By doing all our surgeries in-house again it is going to save a lot of money, and is much less stressful for the animals since they aren't having to be transported off-site.
