IMHS relies on volunteer transporters to drive our furry friends to vet appointments, Petsmart and Petco retailers and to adoption events. At times we need someone willing to take a road trip to meet with other transferring and over crowded shelters to pick up cats and/or dogs to bring back to IMHS. Our shelter van is available for use in transporting or you may choose to use your own vehicle.
If you are at least 21 years old, have a valid drivers license and auto insurance and could volunteer a few hours once or twice a week or even a month to help in the process of getting shelter cats and dogs into forever homes please submit an application at imhs.org or visit the shelter between 11am-4pm daily
