Wood Pellets Needed

UH OH! The stores are all selling out and not restocking their supply of wood stove pellets. The shelter continues using pellets all year long!

Please consider donating your unused bags of wood stove pellets to IMHS. The fancy felines here in the shelter use the pellets as litter rather than the more expensive cat litter brands. Wood stove pellets are safer for their health as pellets do not create a dust for them to inhale in their small cage spaces as scoop-able litter does.

However, we do use and need clay cat litter (non-clumping) for all of the little wee kittens since silly little kitties think pellets are fun to chew on :shrug:


So, please think of IMHS while you prepare your home for summer!
