Halo had his partial amputation surgery yesterday and all went very well. He was even able to keep three toes! Over the next couple weeks as he heals we will be working with Colorado Orthopets to create a prosthetic for him. Our Hope for Halo fundraiser is still short of reaching our goal. Thanks to all that have donated thus far we have been able to purchase all the needed surgical equipment to allow the surgery to take place here in the IMHS Clinic. Funds still need to be raised to pay for the cost of the prosthetic and the purchase of the 4 medication that he taking 3 times a day for pain management and antibiotics.
