SHOES FOR SHELTERS
Intermountain Humane Society is partnering with Funds2Orgs to raise funds by collecting gently worn, used or new shoes. Together, we can help others in the world while also helping the countless cats and pups that come through our doors.

Our Goal:
This year we’re hoping you’ll join us in our efforts to raise enough money to nurture pups from intake to adoption. Goal: To raise $1,000 (that’s 2,500 pairs of shoes) starting now!

How You Can Help:
Drop off gently worn, used or new shoes to the IMHS 2nd Chance Thrift Shop between NOW and May 31, 2016
Interested in collecting shoes for us at your work, school, or church? Contact “Penny” at This email address is being protected from spambots. The shoes are then delivered to micro enterprises who distribute them to vendors in countries like Haiti, Uganda, Bolivia, and several other countries.

The goal of Funds2Org is help people in underprivileged nations by creating jobs of selling shoes in their local market place to create financial sustainability for the workers and their families.

What Kind of Shoes Can I Donate?
Shoes should be in good condition, meaning that the soles are intact, they have laces (if applicable), there are no holes, they are dry and clean, and they still have life left in them.
Rule of thumb: If you wouldn’t give them to your best friend, then they should not be donated for this cause.
Any size, style, gender, and season of shoes (must be a complete pair).
