285 Corridor Restaurants - Master List

As CinnamonGirl said, we'll eventually be moving this to the Kitchen forum and stickying it. We're also putting it into the drop-down Local, Calendar menu at the top of the page - you can access that with the fewest clicks. I'd love to see everyone posting reviews of each place whenever they go out and then we'll split out those reviews with each restaurant's info (the master thread here will always remain intact), then we'll end up with a local restaurants subforum where people can see posters reviews of each place along with the restaurant's info.

Make sure when you patronize these places that you tell them you saw their info here - maybe they'll come on themselves and post special events/deals! Several of them have Facebook pages where they put that kind of thing, but for those who don't have a FB account, it would be great if they'd post it on 285Bound!

We're glad you all like this! If you can think of any other business that would benefit from an organized collection like this, please let us know! We're currently in the process of gathering important fire emergency info to put together in this sort of fashion so if you have anything that would good to have included (especially having learned from personal experience), send it along to . - thanks!

PITG - thanks for the additionals! Do you already have menus for Knotty Pine and The Ranch? We also still need Rustic Station if anyone has it, or is going to be driving by there soon!

TPP, we're working on an Evergreen restaurant list with EG Bound (since people go back and forth between areas, we thought it would be good to create both and share them on both sites) and I think we'll put the Kittridge restaurants in that one since that is a route up into Evergreen.

I just love Golden Stix, Jason and his staff are always so attentative. And the food is great too, nice portions and I love his kung pao chicken (just the right blend of spicy). I generally do take way food and it is always nicely packaged.

His seating is limited so get there at an off time if you can. If not, it will be worth the wait!

We eat at Carreta Vieja regularly major yummy mexican food and the people there are so nice.

The smoked mac and cheese from Cabin Creek is to die for!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When the grocery stores have the little lobter tails on sale I buy them up and then we add them to the smoked mac and cheese (cut up of course).

We also LOVE Zoka's it is a bit of a drive but well worth it and this time of year sitting on the deck is just a treat. Maybe before winter they could do a 285bound thing with the beer or wine tasting (hint, hint).

The main list has been updated with seasonal hour changes, new websites, Facebook pages (FYI: all restaurant FB pages can be found under 285Bound's Facebook Page "Likes" as well for direct access if you're on FB), menus, and links to your local reviews for quick and easy access. There are still a couple more to update, and as always, if you know of any changes (places opening/closing/moving/etc) or find any broken links, please let us know! Additional reviews from you the customer are also greatly appreciated for your fellow neighbors and travelers through the area! Thanks a bunch! :sunshine:
