Known Rod since he moved here. YOU do have to check your order as he ain't there to check it.
I can beat him in BBQ any day (just ask folks that eat mine) so we don't go much, Sue is the manager so see what she can do, ever time I have had an issue it was resolved.

And PS Hawg Heaven is where HD's go to RIP...

Love it and plan to pick up an order there on Sunday.

But now I know to check it out before I leave.

You all probably already know this but you can save a lot of money if you buy a half-pound of chopped pork (it comes with a container of BBQ sauce) instead of the sandwich separately. The 1/2 pound of meat is $6.50. A single large sandwich is $5.95. We bought our own buns and made about 8 sandwiches out of that 1/2 pound of meat.

Never had a problem. When we arrive from out of the country it is the first place we head to.

X_P talk to Rod and let him know about your experience. It won't happen again.

When we are going to have company in we order their larger side meats and bbq sauce - beats all the cooking and is soo good.

Yes, they have beef and pork ribs they are yummy.

In defence of X_P we have been up here forever and one time the people that were there working were bit rude to us. Because we visit often we made sure they understood this and I did call back and ask to have Rod call me.

Rod, called and made things better and also thanked us because as an owner you can not be there all the time and was very thankful that he knew he needed to have a talk with the staff.

I've never had issues withthis establishment or the food. Always great. Orders were always correct.
To those who enjoy Hog Heaven, here's a way to make it even better.
Sign up with http://www.restaurant.com
You'll get e-mails with announcements of sales & discount codes to local restaurants.
Currently it's 40% of the cost of gift certificates and Hog Heaven continues to participate.
The deal now: Get a $25 gift cert for $6. It must be used on a minimum $45 order (for those who are feeding a few people or LOVE leftovers) and is not valid on Sat/Sun. Any limitations are plainly spelled out for each establishment you're interested in. Standard cost is $10, put in the code "FRESH" at checkout and watch the price drop to $6.
Purchase it on-line and then you can immediately print it out.
It'll save you $19 on a $45+ order. Not too shabby!

I did that once, sort of... bought a 1/2 pound of pork. I ate half of it right out of the container on the drive home, yummy. Who needs the buns, I was so hungry. Yum Barbeque, thanks for this thread, I'm going to get some Saturday.
