Rockies Lead NL West!

11 Apr 2011 12:08 - 20 Apr 2011 16:18 #1 by FredHayek
Of course they were beating up on the Pirates & the D-Backs but I hope they keep the lead all season long.

Trivia, the last times they went to the playoffs and the World Series, they didn't have the lead, so maybe they do need to slip back to the pack and then have another memorable R-October.

They should be a more mature team now. I still question Ianetta and Stewart. Helton we could get get aound if he can't recover. They to win the west for the first time.

the whole mantra of Tracy and the higher ups was to start quicker so as to not have to do another Rocktober. That was fun, sure but tough to sustain season after season. look what happened last year.... completely ran out of gas. Let's see how they do in NY, a typical graveyard of Rockie's post seasonal aspirations.

Rockies steal one from the Giants today but now comes the Marlins road trip, normally a death march. If they win down there, we will know the Rox are for real this year.

Good to see the Rox put a shellacking on Cain... woulda been better if they hammered Timmy L.

It's gonna take Ubaldo a couple of starts to get into his last year groove.

Gotta love what Helton and Tulo are doin this year, so far.

wish the Nugs had the same heart as the Rox. They had a chance to make a statement but failed miserably. Still, nothing is decided yet
All they have to do is win at home and win either game 5 or 7 on the road...... the eternal optimist in me!

that nuggets game was just like years past. Blame it on Karl. He drops his game plan in the playoffs. And not a good motivator.

Rockies leading the major leagues right now! Best April ever for the Rox.
