And no one is picking the Nuggets. I still think they are the deepest team right now.

Goal tend and missed free throws. This is why more and more basketball is my least favorite sport. Refs win or lose the game.

I think there is preferential treatment given to "stars" in any sport. In the NBA, it is more acute, often bordering on absurd.

The Nugs need to make some free throws. That would have won the game. Jeez, who would have thunk that the Nuggets undoing is
not being able to shoot a free throw.

The Nuggets just don't match up well with the Thunder. The New Nuggets are known for their defense but then they let Durant score a record amount in the playoffs. They have to steal the next game in OK City or it will all be over.

Wait a minute!! Doesn't anyone remember the nuggets beating the Sonics in the 80's? Their coach was Karl. I remember that he had reservations to go home after game 3. He has a history of screwing up in the playoffs. And WTH? same with JR. I haven't looked at his stats but I know he sucked. He has every playoff game in the past.

Karl doesn't have the kill instinct that it takes to go all the way. Damn, I hope he proves me wrong. And free throw misses would have probably won the game. But the officiating makes such a difference in close games and the league lets those bastards do whatever they want. They are the most egotistical refs in sports.

And what about that bad goal tend at the end then if you say something you get a technical about 2 plays later. Basketball pisses me off and I quit watching about 4 years ago unless the nuggets are good. It is too much about egos.

agreed about defense, but Afflalo is their best perimeter defender, the most reliable scorer, and.... he can make a free throw!

And he is out. Gotta hope he is ok to play on Weds.

Lawson looked slower due to his ankle injury. Nene played well.

JR could be their guy on the perimeter for a last jump shot but he sucks in the playoffs. I wish Nene had just gone for that shot last night. We would have had a better shot. Yeah, yeah D but that really was not their issue last night. I thought they rebounded better than years past with melo yellow.

We shall see if they can play better next game, meaning making free throws and finding player combinations so we do not end up with prolong scoring droughts.
