I think the players will do good with the current plan. More money for proven players and the NFL pension plan and less spent on rookies with no provens.
Imagine if other unions did that? Paying the rookie bag boy more than the butcher with 20 years of experience.
And you know the owners who want to overpay will continue to find ways around the system. Peyton Manning just got a 90 million dollar deal.
