I so needed this game tonight - for the next 5 months, my Sundays are structured, and full of hopes, expectations, energy, and violence!
Predictions for this year?
My Bengals will be lucky to match last year's 4-12 record, but I'll still root for them when I go see them play the Broncos in a week and a half! I'm used to ridicule and disrespect by now!
Wild pick: Lions - They're going to win their division and make it to the playoffs, not sure after that.
What do you think?
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
42 to 34 Green Bay - final. I'm looking forward the the rest of the season!
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

SO happy football is back! And, YEA Green Bay for tonite! We'd like to try this "fantasy football" stuff, but have no clue how to even begin. That being the case, guess I'll be content to just watch (or listen to) any game that's on. Football season seems to just "light up the fire"!
I don't think Detroit will win the division from Green Bay.
Broncos will be rebuilding and lucky to win six games.
But it is good to have real games, so sick of pre-season. It is a crime to make people pay real money to see exhibition football. If you are going to do that, play Bronco games in Laramie and Fort Collins so regional fans can see the NFL, I think the NBA still does this for preseason.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
Broncos vs. Raiders last night was a train wreck. I am really giving some thought to becoming a Lion's fan, at least they win (most of the time) on Thanksgiving. The Broncos really didn't have what it takes to play at the NFL level last night and it was embarrassing to loose AGAIN to the Raiders at home, never mind let's do it on Monday night football and while the moon was full. I have a feeling that the 2011-2012 NFL season will be a long painful one for Broncos fans, let the team prove me wrong - I'll be happy to be proven wrong!
