Jets/Broncos 17 November 2011

One thing seems to be is that the team as a whole is coming together. The D was making less mistakes as well as the O line.

Chemistry and confidence. It's sticky stuff oozing throughout the team. I have to admit, that dong this crazy game-ending win bit is difficult to fathom. I can only guess that the team is going to improve progressively, much because of increased confidence in one another. We all know it can not continue like that. It would be better on my stress level if Tim only needed to kneel at the end.

What else is interesting, is the excuses ongoing. Jet's payed bad. BS. COming in the Jets defense was respected and considered good. Now that they failed against Tebow et al. they are suddenly bad. For some it will always be difficult to give credit were credit is due. That is OK. I love it when people fool themselves.

Ask Sanchez if he thought the Denver D was lucky, or better. LOL

My sources say he is taking a long whirlpool recovery soak. He will need the extra time to recover.

You heard it from the guys in the locker room after the game. Their confidence is way up.

Every where you look and read, teams playing Denver look at it as an opportunity to fatten up their win column. TV pandits view it almost a foregone conclusion that opposing teams will win. All but one brave soul picked the Jets to win. Opposing players don't hesitate to ridicule. But, in the past few weeks a change is taking place in Denver. Our defense is jelling into a solid unit while the offense evolves with each game. If I were an opposing team, the last thing I would do it take Denver for granted like the Jets did. It seems to me, this team is only going to keep improving. It is unfortunate that many pundits would rather blame the Jets for playing poorly as opposed to giving credit to Denver.

I like to be optimistically cautious and say that I think we will deal with SD in the next game in another close one. D will need to be good again and I think we might just see a return to 50 running plays. This not because of TIm's passing, but because I think we'll be able to run on SD. Running the ball keeps Rivers off the field, keeps the clock moving and keeps our D fresh. Just don't make us the favorite.

For now, I'm still chuckling over the latest Miracle in Denver.

Have you seen the look on the past 2 QB's faces at the end of the game....they are SORE. Zoom and Doom are doing a good job of hitting them. That was exactly what Coach Ryan said before the game...they are going to hit Tebow as much as possible. Guess it goes both ways....finally!!! I wonder if the Referee's will throw more flags if they do that to Brady in a few weeks!

Anybody else see flashes of Derrick Thomas in Miller's play? It is exciting to have him and will be fun to watch him as the years go by.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

There are flashes everywhere that can make one giddy. Miller is certainly one. It looks like he and Dumerville are starting to click together. How has Ayres been doing? Not much showing up on the stats sheet.

I'm hoping the brain thrust will not destroy the evolving chemistry. Frankly, I think the team needs Tebow for his character and leadership.

I do think teams have been underestimating the Broncos, and that has worked in Tebow's favor.
Getting pounded by Detroit probably helped with that judgement. Everyone thinks the Broncos are just lucky only to find out that they have God on thier side. (Kidding!...or am I?)
