You need to check again..I coached for 7 years. I started when one of my kids was 7 and quit when he was 15 winning two Carnation Bowls, running up in two others- and I took my 8 year old team to the National Championship game in las Vegas and lost on the last play because of The 'Dreaded' Inadvertent Whistle. We chased that go over a fence and down the street. I'm still lookin for him

Let's see how the Vikings feel about loosing even though their QB throws a nice ball. Or let's look at what RIver's feels like now that they have lost 5 in a row. Not too happy is he? Right now, I think he would give anything to have a win rather than 300 yards of passing.

But we are talking about another athlete. Some people see potential where others only see stats for a reason to chastise. According to a real expert, you know someone with actual pro ball experience, Tim will develop into a great QB. Even if non of us here are self-proclaimed Carnation Bowl football experts, it's not hard to see the difference between a winner and a whiner. Oh, VL, you might want to read this article. I posted it on another thread you started where you bad mouthed Tim. But since you we're evaluating talent, here you go.

Everybody wants Timmy to be a 60 percent (passing) quarterback. I guarantee he soon will be," Bratkowski said. "He'll get better and keep improving. He was 31-of-35 in his last college game (the Sugar Bowl). Despite what his critics say, he will be a great passer.
The 80-year-old Bratkowski was around more than a few quarterbacks in his 40 NFL seasons — 14 as a quarterback and 26 as an assistant coach. He served as Bart Starr's backup when the Packers won an NFL championship (and got Green Bay to the game by taking over for an injured Starr in a playoff game and starring), then the first two Super Bowls.

What will it be then, once he routinely passes in the 60% range? Seems I heard you say he can't throw deep also (I take 56 yards to Decker over two Chief defenders is not a quality pass or long ball). Proven wrong again on that one too. Those grapes making you gag?

Blah, blah blah blah blah...I couldn't read that. Time is on my side on this ridiculous Tebow debate and in time Tim will be universally recognized as a joke of a QB, but you know what? If there's one thing I learned from the Bush presidency it's that, "I told yo so's" are incredibly unsatisfieing. The guys a joke, Elway said it yesterday when he said on 104.3 that Tim is NOT the QB of the future for the Broncos. You ignorant Tebow lovers are just like Sarah Palin fans..You can't see the truth- You wanna believe so bad that you overlook the most obvious inadequacies. Tebow's a great kid, You cannot not root for the kid, but C'mon people..He's horrible.

Personal stats are only used for personal growth, and are completely worthless in determining the 'best' team.

The sole measurement of 'best team' is win/loss record.

No? Then STFU

Scoring is a stat, id like to see him transend that one and stay in the league.

Guys..The defense is winning these games. Take off your Tebow colored glasses for a second.

Question. If winning isn't everything like you say, then why are yo still chasing the inadvertent whistle blower? If you were honest, you'd be satisfied with the stats you claim to have. lol . You can't have it both ways. So, conclusion is you either are a liar, or have no clue of what you are talking about.

Despite the existence of a singularity in the knowledge of all things football related as claimed in this thread...

Winning is the only thing. Wins/Losses.

Name me one other stat that has anything to do with playoffs or championships.

Meaningless! I could show you another 500 NFL busts that had better 1rst year numbers than Elway..

The difference is that Elway could throw a football 80 yards and Tebows good for about 40. What you never played or coached the game arm chair quarterbacks fail to grasp is that there are 55 guys on a team and it takes all 55 to win a ballgame.
