Despite his recent funk — 17 runs and 19 hits over his last 17 2/3 innings for an 8.66 ERA over his last three starts — Ubaldo Jimenez will likely be the starter for the National League in next week’s All-Star Game. After all, he still owns a 14-1 record.

He does seem to be in a slump right now. But it will be good experience for him to face the all star batters.

I think he'll do fine. The AL allstars are a lot of washed up over the hill has been players. NL will win for the first time in years.
