What would you skip for the Super Bowl? For me the question depends entirely upon whether I'd plunked down thousands of dollars for tickets to the game vs watching it at home. Unfortunately, I don't think I could skip for the birth of a child, 
and I certainly wouldn't miss a funeral, but work, vacation, and weddings? Hell yeah!

From the Department of "They Funded What? Duh!" But I had to mention it, because they studied fans during The Ohio State U/U of Michigan 2006 final matchup (when we were ranked 1st and Michigan 2nd and the winner went to the championship) and Ohio State won that game. :woo hoo: ( :nyah: to Rockdoc!

More than 20 percent of those surveyed by CouponCabin.com said they would skip out on important work responsibilities, vacations and the wedding of a close friend or family member in order to see their team play in football's championship game.
Football fans also said they'd be willing to miss the funeral of a loved one and the birth of their child, according to the survey.
Nearly 40 percent of those surveyed tune in primarily for the commercials, and a third said they watch the game because it's fun to go to a Super Bowl party.
