I keep changing my mind on who I want to win......I'll probably end up rooting for the Ravens because they are the AFC, but I'm really not invested in either team. We will spend the game eating all those things we rarely eat.....wings, meatballs, some southwest dip and potato chips ( I never eat those, except the Super Bowl), an assortment of cheeses and, as a nod to healthy eating, some fresh veggies and fruit. We invited our 92 yr old neighbor to watch with us, it's not much fun for him to watch a big game like that by himself, besides.......he is bringing manhattans. Good thing we are staying home :)

Good for you, your clan, and your neighbor archer! I love football but I value my relationships with family and friends more. As the years go by I gain an ever increasing appreciation of the bonds that have formed and my love of spending time with family and friends.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

I can't say that the game was boring, I was watching right down to the very last play. The power outage was an interesting diversion and it sure did shift the momentum of the game away from the Ravens. Maybe the power outage was a part of Ray Lewis's manslaughter case plea bargain from way back when?

I had bet on the Ravens to win but was bummed Ray Lewis got to be part of it. Exciting game and I was sweating the finish. Liked the Farmer Paul Harvey ad the best.

Super Bowl or no, I'm there with you as son who was supposed to carry on the family farming tradition. I grew up as a farm kid but somehow ended up in the Navy instead of following the family tradition.

This video clip says it all, Farmers work every day, all day, no matter if that day is Easter, Thanksgiving, or Christmas. Cows have to be milked, fences and equipment have to be maintained, and every animal needs daily care and feeding. It's a every day all day job.

God bless those who do the work, in my estimation not many of us would sign up for this job knowing there are alternatives.

I watched the game online (streaming version)

The panty commercial was cute the first time - but got old.

Same thing with what your phone can't do, and the smart phone quarterly reports.

The Coke concept was interesting, but didn't quite work.

I don't even remember who did the black magic commercials (I don't like black magic).

The Toyota commercials were less-than-memorable (I remember that Toyota did an ad).

I snickered at the shampoo commercial, but don't remember who did it.

The small town in Ohio was a dairy community. So the weddings were interesting, they would have an intermission so everyone could go home and milk the cows and then go back for the reception.

I loved the words about a farmer has to know how to do pretty much everything because specialists are far away and expensive.
