I'm an NFL football junkie, I make sure to watch the Pro Bowl every year even though I know that the rules are changed for player safety, most players are only playing at half speed, and most players are more excited to spend a week in Hawaii than they are about winning or losing the game. Even so, the Pro Bowl is a great way to recognize the best players across the NFL. For me the Pro Bowl is one more chance to watch some of my favorite players before the season is over. I'll watch it as long as the NFL keeps it on the schedule.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
I think the Pro Bowl works better before the Super Bowl. Someone was suggesting they hold it in the same town as the Super Bowl and maybe play it on Saturday.
And while everyone rips on it as an event, as many people watch it as watch the World Series. I didn't this year, took a long hike in the t-shirt weather, 6.5 miles.
