The daughter of a Columbus Blue Jackets hockey player wrote the Minnesota Wild asking them to trade for her dad because he was lonely living away from his family so this week the Wild did just that, picking up the defenseman from the Ohio team.
Nice to know at least sometimes teams consider families.
