VILLANOVA, Pa. -- Sophomore Tewaaraton nominee Connor Cannizzaro (Cazenovia, N.Y.) tallied eight points on five goals and three assists, and freshman Tewaaraton nominee Trevor Baptiste (Denville, N.J.) won 19-of-24 faceoffs to lead the [4/3] University of Denver men's lacrosse team to a 16-8 win over Georgetown in the BIG EAST Final on Saturday night at Villanova Stadium.

Denver is 11-0 in the conference regular season in its two seasons in BIG EAST play.
Denver is now 34-9 as a top-5 team, including 11-2 as the No. 4 team.
Denver improved to 7-3 in conference tournament play, including 4-0 in BIG EAST Tournament play.
Saturday's BIG EAST Championship was Denver's third conference tournament title, and its second in two seasons in the BIG EAST.
