2016 Evergreen Pond Hockey Championship by EPRD

The 2016 Evergreen Pond Hockey Championship, organized by Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) with tournament sponsor Tivoli Brewing Co., will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 2 and 3, on the 8.5-acre rink at Evergreen Lake.


This year's championship will feature more prizes, more teams, and more excitement than ever before. Teams will compete for a $1,500 cash prize for the champions in the Open Division, plus cash prizes for all divisions.

Tournament start is 7 AM each day. Teams will play a minimum of three games each, with two 15-minute periods per game, 4 on 4 (with teams of up to eight members to facilitate player rotation).

Registration
Registration is $400 for the Open, 40+ Open, Rink Rat Open, Women's Divisions, and $350 for the Rink Rat Amateur Division. For more information or to register, click here .

The 2016 Evergreen Pond Hockey Championship is played on Evergreen Lake, the world's largest Zamboni-groomed outdoor ice rink. Evergreen Lake has been declared one of the " Top 10 Skating Rinks " by Sunset Magazine and recognized by CNN Travel on their " 10 of the world's most beautiful ice skating rinks " list.

Das Beavers Liquor Wins 6th Annual Evergreen Pond Hockey Championship
Evergreen, CO (Jan. 12, 2015) - The team Das Beavers Liquor won the 2016 Evergreen Pond Hockey Championship, organized by Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) with tournament sponsor Tivoli Brewing Co.

Fifty-three teams competed in the tournament on the 8.5-acre rink on Jan. 2 and 3 at Evergreen Lake.
